Deputy work

I am sometimes available to play at church services (such as Funerals, Communion, Evensong) within a reasonable distance of Kettering. I do not play at weddings for a number of reasons.

I am now finding that many church services often have too much noise, chatter and informality. To be honest, I cannot abide long (rambling) sermons. Additionally, the recent issues which have been in the news have made me lose trust in the leadership of the C of E. Nevertheless, were you to engage me to play for you I would, of course, be completely professional in my approach.

Fees

Fees are by negotiation. Churches tend to be able to afford a variety of honoraria but I feel my expertise is worth at least £50 where this is possible.
